Legislation: Ohio Senate Bill 92 – Pay Equity

Bill: Senate Bill 92 (full text, official bill analysis) Title: Pay Equity Sponsors: Senator Turner and Senator Tavares Co-Sponsors: Senators Brown Bill Analysis: This bill enacts the “Fair Acceptable Income Required (FAIR) Act,” and prohibiting discrimination in the payment of wages.  Discrimination due to gender identity and sexual orientation are specifically prohibited. Status: Introduced in the Senate March 20, 2013 and received hearings in the Senate.
