IO’s Steve Dyer Testifies on SB 175

Yesterday Innovation Ohio’s Education Policy Fellow, Steve Dyer, gave proponent testimony on SB 175.  SB 175 would not allow Community Schools to accept students if the student would attend a better rated building on the state report card, with a couple exceptions. This bill would give Community Schools the motivation to improve their academic standing. The full text of Steve Dyer’s testimony can be read here.
