Bill Analysis: This bill prohibits abortion on pregnant women when the probable age of the fetus is twenty weeks or greater.
Status: Introduced in the Senate March 16, 2015. Referred to the Senate Health and Human Services Committee on March 17, 2015. The bill received hearings in the Senate Committee on June 10, 17, and 23, 2015. It was voted 8-2 out of the Senate Committee. An amended bill was passed 23-4 in the Senate on June 24, 2015.
Bill was introduced to the House on June 25, 2015 and referred to the House Community and Family Advancement on October 1, 2015. It received Committee hearings in the House on October 6 and 13, 2015.
