Ohio Attorney General Agrees Issue 3 is not about “Obamacare”

Speaking about Issue 3 on the November ballot, Ohio’s Attorney General had this to say:
“If you have a decision of the Supreme Court of the United States that validates the Obama health-care law, I’m not sure how passage of this act would roll that back based on the Supremacy Clause.”

We’ve said it before, and now the state’s top lawyer agrees: Issue 3 will have no effect on the health insurance mandate contained in the federal Affordable Care Act. It is, at best, a symbolic gesture with respect to the federal law, with horrible consequences for state law.
