Follow up on Workers Comp Council

Readers may recall that last month, Innovation Ohio first reported on the amazing taxpayer rip-off that is the Workers Compensation Council, leading to a number of reports (here, here and here) in newspapers around the state, and even an editorial calling for more scrutiny of the agency’s funding. On April 26, we asked Auditor Yost to look at the agency to ensure taxpayer dollars are being spent effectively and appropriately. It’s now been over two weeks and we haven’t heard a peep from the Auditor’s office, so today we sent another letter to follow up. We’ll keep everyone posted if and when we hear anything back.
