What you need to know about Ohio Politics and Policy
Heidi Weaver-Smith (she/her) is a Jr. Fellow with Innovation Ohio. She gained her interest in political advocacy through her experience as a non-profit leader working at the intersection of the LGBTQIA+ community and her faith community. She serves as a founding board member of the Westerville Queer Collective and the founder of LOVEboldly, a faith-based non-profit which works to create a world where LGBTQIA+ individuals can feel safe, belong, and flourish in the church.
Heidi also serves as the Operations Director of Little Bottoms Free Store, an initiative which builds supportive community, provides basic needs, and shares resources for families of young children in Central Ohio. Heidi holds a B.A. in Media Communications from Asbury University and an M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. Her policy interests include workplace equity, accessible and affordable childcare, and ending violence against women and girls. Heidi lives with her husband and two young daughters in Westerville, Ohio.
